TESTIMONIALS
Kate & Ryan
We would like to say the biggest thank you for the amazing ceremony you gave us. Everyone said how genuine the ceremony was and how well it reflected us as couple. We had so many compliments about you and multiple requests for your contact details. The concept of putting together a wedding ceremony was intimidating for two people like us who aren't very formal. However, through our talks with you we really managed to get down to the core of what we wanted to say and how we wanted to say it. Your amazing knowledge of traditions used in wedding ceremonies in different cultures also really helped. We loved including food and wine sharing in our ceremony, it made it so special.
Thanks again!

We were in London organizing our wedding from long distance. My mum had everything covered bar the music and celebrant. We really wanted a celebrant who came highly recommended as we didn't have time to meet anyone. I was dubious as I have been to many a wedding/funeral where the celebrant/priest talks like they have known the person/s for years and I think it sounds dishonest. Caroline proved to be way better than I imagined. She was down to earth, funny and helped us stay calm. I loved how her speech was heart felt and delivered with sincerity. In all honesty our beach wedding was perfect despite the freak cold weather in amongst a Melbourne heat wave - Caroline helped us decide to keep it at the beach, which was the right decision.
All in all Caroline Higgins comes highly recommended!

Thank you so much for the wonderful job you did and for your patience when my brain decided it was going to run down the stairs. I can't believe I nearly got stage fright. The entire day was glorious, we had so much fun especially with the films showing, although everything went so fast I can't believe it's over!

Before we chose Caroline as our celebrant we saw our wedding ceremony as a chore to be gotten out of the way as quickly as possible in order to get on with the important bit, i.e. the reception! However, Caroline helped us realise the importance of creating a personalised ceremony to fit us perfectly. She understood us as a couple and saw how we worked together, and ultimately delivered a beautiful ceremony with the perfect blend of seriousness and humour. In fact, many people said it was the best ceremony they'd witnessed. They were convinced that Caroline knew us personally! Funnily enough, she turned the thing we were dreading the most into the highlight of our night!

Thank you Caroline for helping us make our ceremony so special - you pulled together our story beautifully. As you know there wasn't a dry eye in the house! The ceremony had all the right components - humour, drama and love. Thank you for guiding us through the early planning stages, and for helping Andrew articulate his feelings... I'll let you know when I get those Daschunds! We felt looked after, and enjoyed the relaxed informal preparations. We look forward to keeping in touch.

Caroline is the most down to earth looking celebrant we could find online. In real life she proved to be just so, with a great sense of humour and highly professional. Caroline can bring out the romance in the most hardened cynic. Our wedding grew from a simple, quick affair that was to be held in someone's backyard to a romantic, elegant and truly memorable day where we as a couple declared our love and told a bit of "our story" to our friends and family. She has a great skill in putting people's stories together... drawing out details and writing a truly beautiful ceremony that we as a couple will always treasure. We are both from Latin America and both speak Spanish, Caroline even went to the extra effort of learning some Spanish for the ceremony. Thanks so much!

Dear Caroline, thank you for helping us to experience our wedding ceremony exactly as it should have been. From our initial meeting at a café in Northcote to the informal catch up and wedding rehearsal luncheon your presence was that of a friend and loving support. You opened up our eyes to the fact that our relationship was something that was truly special and worthy of sharing with our closest family and friends. Despite the rain, wind and roaring sunshine on our wedding day, your presence helped us to remain relaxed and open, ready to accept whatever challenges and blessings life had to offer. Thank you for being a part of our ceremony, our friends and family could not believe that we had only known you such a short while; the authenticity of our relationship was felt by all. May you bless many more marriages! All our love, Allison & Edward Berry.

THANK YOU
for making our wedding ceremony such a beautiful
and special affair. We both can not stop
talking about how wonderful our wedding was
and you helped to make that so. You did such
a wonderful job of telling our story and
delivered the ceremony exactly as we imagined
it should be. We have had so many comments

Many thanks
for putting together such a special celebration,
a celebration we didn’t know how to
get stitched up. All we wanted was something
meaningful to us and our family & friends
who travelled from so far to be at our wedding.
We were unsure of how to go about it. Nothing
fancy nor cheesy, you know. And you just
came up with the exact celebration we were
after. It was an impressive job to get inside
us,understand what a journey it has been
for us since meeting one another and how
this has led to our marriage. And the result
was fantastic: both fun and passionate. After
the ceremony many people commented on how ‘us’ the
whole thing had been.
In terms
of practicalities you always were flexible
in arranging meetings and you know what works
and what doesn´t.
Gracias for learning Spanish too!
Un beso,
Alicia y Luis.

Caroline
was the perfect choice for our wedding ceremony…..
she took the time to get to know us well
before the wedding and took a genuine interest
in our relationship in order to piece together
the best possible ceremony to suit us.
We had
our own hand-fasting ceremony and it ran
so smoothly thanks to the personal attention
and professionalism she offered.
So many people
told us how amazing the celebrant was after
the ceremony also, so we were extremely
happy and relieved our guests enjoyed the
experience also.
I would have
absolutely no problem recommending Caroline
to play such an important role of the wedding
day!!!

Thankyou
for putting together, and conducting such
a wonderful wedding ceremony for us. From
our first meeting, you made us feel very
comfortable and confident that the ceremony
would reflect our individual personalities
and desire for a relaxed and informal wedding.
It meant a lot to us that you encouraged
our ideas whilst guiding us in the right
direction without cramping our style. Thank
you for being so flexible and accommodating
with your time - having you fit in with us
during such a busy period certainly relieved
some of the stress. Throughout the process,
you were at all times professional, punctual,
articulate, and sensitive whilst also being
relaxed and fun. We had an amazing night
and the ceremony was by far the highlight.
Regards
Vivian and Ben.

We both
felt very comfortable with you from the start.
You had just the right way of telling
us what HAD to be done (within a time frame),
suggesting what MIGHT be a good idea and
encouraging us to be a bit thoughtful and
creative so that the ceremony reflected our
individual tastes and feelings. We feel very
happy about having made the three children
an intregral part of the whole thing. Most
people remarked on it and I gather it's a
bit unusual. We got the feeling that you
have lived a bit and are not totally straightlaced,
yet you know how to be formal when the
occasion demands, what works and what doesn't
work. We just couldn't have stood being
bossed around by some boring old fart! We
had been to a wedding only a few months before
conducted by a celebrant who was reputed
to be in great demand (and, might I say,
more expensive!) who came out with a couple
of things we thought to be in rather poor
taste. He was sort of overly-familiar and
a bit smart-arsed. From the beginning we
had confidence that that would not be your
style. Thanks for a job well done!

We chose
Caroline as our celebrant for our wedding
because she exuded a mix of humour and genuine
interest in sharing our special day with
us in such a pivotal role. She helped
us to develop a wedding ceremony that that
was moving and inspiring, and fully represented
the meaning of the day to us, without us
taking ourselves too seriously. On
the day, Caroline was extremely professional
in appearance and delivery of the service,
arriving early to make sure everything was
set-up properly and that other participants
in the service knew the what, where and when's
of their roles. Many of our guests
have commented very favourably about Caroline
and our service - whilst what other people
thought was not overly important to us it
is gratifying that our selection was endorsed
so repeatedly.

We thought
that our marriage celebration was going to
be a quick, semi-cynical gathering, but Caroline
was able to bring back the magic and the
spiritual purpose of this ceremony right
from the beginning. We felt we were
growing with every conversation held
with Caroline and with every word jotted
down for the presentation of our love to
all our witnesses. Caroline is truly
approachable and understanding. Her
relaxed, organised and flexible manner
was exactly what we needed.
Caroline
transformed our small living room and dining
area into a spacious, welcoming chapel that
had nothing to envy the rest. The wedding turned
out to be the most wonderful experience for
us, my family and friends. The ceremonial
words were touching and truthful; the atmosphere,
relaxed and cosy. Tears of joy flowed
from everybody's smiling faces.. All unions
vary significantly and a celebrant t must
have a genuine ability to understand and
interpret couples' special needs. With these
words we happily recommend Caroline and wish
her the best in her future celebrations.

Dear
Caroline,
Thanks
for a professional, fun and happy ceremony.
Thankyou for disproving my previously
held belief that people rarely got
what they wanted from a celebrant.
Thankyou for convincing me to read
my poem myself too.
Cheers,
Brett.
Dear
Caroline,
Thankyou
so much for all your help, guidance
and the excellent execution of our
wedding. We couldn't have done it without
you obviously - but it was a pleasure
to meet you and we really appreciate
the time you put into making our dreams
a reality. It was a wonderful ceremony
and a very special day - thanks so
much for playing your part!
Cheers,
Jane.

Ingrid & Peter Alexandrovics
When
we looked for a celebrant, we wanted someone
who was spiritual, unique, practical and down
to earth. Both Peter and Ingrid have both
lived very full and alternative lives, but
we do appreciate tradition, values and a sense
of meaning. We both feel marriage is a sacred
act. We wanted someone who could represent
our spiritual and personal values, having
a sensitivity toward nature and a deep sense
of ancestry and higher meaning of life. We
wanted someone who not only understood this
but, someone who could also encompass a variety
of beliefs and values. Both of us have a love
for science, philosophy and spiritual values,
though not an altogether common combination
of values. Caroline was able to embrace this
theme of culture and embrace this with our
ceremony.
Our
guests felt that all these elements that we
represent and desired as individuals were
well represented by Caroline. Because of Caroline,
we were able to have a ceremony that was unique,
personal and the sense of a higher order.
Best Regards
Ingrid and Peter Alexandrovics
